It is with regret and sadness that I have to make the following announcement.

Due to the unbelievable number of events that are now in our area I have taken the decision to cancel all Silver Stetsons events for the moment. I cannot, and will not, be part of the destruction. There are only so many dancers and nights in one area, and rather than continue to expect dancers to have to decide which they can afford I would far rather do something that will be good for the linedance scene than just be out there for the money, I love linedancing, I never been in it for what I could make.

To the people who are sad to see us go, I say a very, very big thank you, for your support, for your friendship, and for your pure love of the dance and music, you have been an inspiration and a part of my life for the past ten years of hosting events that I will never forget; and to the people that are pleased to see us go I say, we may be gone for now but we will always be around somewhere.

The line dance classes WILL still be running and we will be out and about at far more events now however, and would like to say that if we are going somewhere and you want to join us, either on a single evening, or on any weekends, we would love to see you.
Please feel free to check the website for ALL the weekends and festivals we will be advertising, and of course, details of the weekends we will be taking parties to .

We would like to thank everyone for their support and patience while we have been changing halls. It is now nearly all sorted and we are very pleased with our new venues. Both the Friday night venue, Finedon Community Center, and the Thursday class venue, Irchester WMC. There are still a couple more dates we are in the process of finalising a hall for and as soon as this is done the details will be on the events page.

Another move for Silver Stetsons!!! All of the events that were to be held at the Railway Club have now been moved to Finedon Community Center, Wellingborough Road in Finedon, the first event to be held there will be Natalie on 11th Feb. However please note that Nashville Sounds on the 11th March has had to be cancelled. Thankyou for your continued support and we hope you will enjoy both our new venues as much as the previous ones

We are pleased to announce that we have found another venue.

All events that were to be held at the Embankment Club have now been moved to Irchester Working Mens Club.This is a much smaller venue and tickets are going to be very limited so you will need to book early for any events you want to attend. We are excited by this development and envisage some very fun and different nights.

5th January 2011

We have been informed that the Embankment Club is closing at the end of this month. This will not affect the social with Alan Gregory on Friday which will be going ahead as planned. Neither does it affect any of the events held at the Railway Club on the 2nd Friday of every month. We are in the process of finding an alternative venue and will keep you all informed as soon as we have any news.
